What is the best free host.

I have had experience with most of these webhosts, and fwsh is still, in my opinion one of the best combined with ulimited-sql.com.

I voted Netfirms as well, the other choices weren't too good. Plus I used Netfirms for about a year, I liked it (besides the banner ad).

In some obsolete hard drive I've got a FreeWebs (http://freewebs.com) account. I've never noticed downtime. The services are great, but a little misleading...thought I got FTP and other cool stuff, but it was paid upgrades. I'd say FreeWebs (formerly FreeWebz) was the best I was ever on :classic2:

Their hosting wasn't bad, but what they did to people's mailboxes was - they use to send advertising mail to their members every single day.

Anything other than Spam wouldn't have been poetic justice.

Hm....Fwsh.com is closed due to insufficent funds...which is too bad for such a good free host...

maye he just stopped it because either no one was signing up anymore, or people are abusing it. I doubt it's because he didn't make enough money.... his mySQL add-on was pretty cheap.
