You can buy 256MB DDR Crucial ram at http://www.newegg.com for $35 US dollars.

Considering his motherboard soesn't support ddr ram I don't that that's such a good idea.

Yup, it works fine with sdram. Pentium 4's now support sdram too, not that I'd want one or anything though...

I'm going to build one soon, as soon as I have enough money. IS that motherboard good? Which company? MSI? never heard of it.
