great host, but everytime I link to an image it doesnt show up or gives a 404, which is annoying when I wanna display a quick gallery lol.
 
hmmm no cpanel. this makes me sad:( it is very good hosting, but i just don't like your control panel.. -cnelson. :)

are you not allowing SIgnups from certain countries, i am not able to access the site, when others are able to?

cannot access site though... :(...

are some asian countries really banned from even viewing their main page?!...
is this for real (in this day 'n age)!!?... what a shame!...

or is the site down for a while?...
coz i don see any posts from zettahost in the past few days (from 23rd-ish)...

Then the admin locked the thread.

I have a couple of comments:

1) I have used around 100 hosts and awardspace.com is the first to require that I change my ftp setting to "passive mode".

2) I should not have to search the forum for critical information. The directions to set ftp to "passive" should be clearly stated in the ftp management section of the control panel.

3) If awardspace was a store in a mall, management would not ask me to search the store before asking a question or making an unofficial complaint.

4) At this time, all this is moot: We can't see our websites anyway due to some setting awardspace has made. See thread http://forum.awardspace.com/viewtopic.php?p=2336&highlight=#2336 "You are not authorized to view this page."

5) Ok, "passive mode" works, but you need a "customer service mode."
 
I tasted them . In my opinion their effort is not bad , but still a lot of useful features are missing and their support is not as stated above. If you are lucky you will get your questions answored in a week.The slow services and the "ftp disconnections" are extras for the free hosting plan :wave: .The terms and conditions show that a huge amount of websites (type) are not accepted. However, the runtime is ok and having in mind all the other free hosters , they are one of the best`s :knockedou

speed is good in here.
no problem with other thingy except 10mega mysql.
20mega would be better :biggrin2:
