what yall think? i wanted to get this motherboard the
ASUS "SK8V" K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 940 CPU -RETAIL

but should i spend dat much for that motherboard? i want an asus motherboard but i think thats too much for the kind of motherboard i want. anyone kno a good asus motherboard model that is suitable for me? thanks

I've always had good experiences with ASUS motherboards. Very high quality and well engineered to be the top perfomers usually. Quality-wise, I think the ASUS is worth it especially since the motherboard is a very important part of your computer. It should also work hand-in-hand with the vid card that you're getting.

Lol, erm 256k cache? The new p4's have 1mb (I have one)

ASUS Motherboards are very good, especially the AI series, i have been using mine for a a while and it is excellent.
