Why are only national teams mentioned? I find club level more suitable for "fandom"...on the other hand I do not really have a favorite team there, maybe Chelsea or Madrid. National team level is more exciting though, if you can bear the long pauses between matches. Spain is definitely the cream of the crop right now but I've always been a sucker for african teams. I also like the russian team under Hiddink.
