how much are you paying for dsl?

i live in the uk so we get the worst speeds ever
I think you're still ahead of the Aussies.

No one can beat our Scandinavian friends though.

UK broadband will not get much faster as everything is based around the very old copper wiring system. We need to get some new fibre optic cables installed.

1.5Mbps/156kbps this week $83.31AUD includes line rental and VOIP

Sure they got 100mbps for $50USD a month, but our Korean and Japanese friends get 1000mbps for the same price..

5.6 megabits per second down for free.

A wireless laptop and an unsecured wireless network in a public library is a beautiful thing.

You know it baby, port 80 and 25 too ;)
I always here so mcuh great stuff about them.

I think Adelphia offers 6mbit for $60 here... plus like another $15-20 since I don't have Cable TV.

That's why I stick with DSL.

I pay $21 a month for dial-up from my ISP. What do you think of that?
Reasonable?
Too high?
Whoa...you're still on dial-up!?? (answer=yes)

Well, considering you (well maybe not you, personally) can get DSL for $15, yes $21 is too high for dial-up.

$10 is the absolute max you should pay for dialup really.
