Some people reject peircings, especially nipple piercings.. its a lot more common than you think. A friend of mine had the same problem. To help heal it, keep the area clean, use a fragrance free lotion and wear a cotton wifebeater or short sleeve shirt under your clothing.

It's painless until you stretch them or something. Overall, it hurts still, but it's not too bad.
