hey...I went for http://www.l33t.ca/ and sent in my money. Remember USA dollars only.




Now they are shutting down with everybodies money and it seems to be a big collection of kids thinking its a funny joke.


O--we did not read our ISP's TOS...we owe a whole bunch of money....we are going to move on to more fun things...good-bye L33T...if you want to help our debts send in your donations.....

It just seems strange to take peoples money....keep no financial books...pay no taxes...declare no bankrupcy....declare sob stories....==AND IN MESSAGEBOARD ITS LIKE A BUNCH OF KIDS having a party and only a jerk cares about their money...


Ask for a refund and no reply.


Maybe this belongs in another forum but a partial reason people who host for free still hesitate to pay anything?


Sort of like http://free.prohosting.com/ Anybody know their game? Send in one time $10 for your free site. What promises? Now they seem to be back with free 50mb sites with ads.(shifted between 20mb and 50mb...nice if you have over 20mb and it goes to 20mb..)


http://www.50megs.com/ on the same 'send in your money type operation'. Seems every day they have a new site promising new things for a $10 payment. (part of the 2.5 million freeservers network)


I really don't buy webspace or pay bandwidth as part of a fun game when the host goes down.

Was a free place.Dropped free.Collected money only in USA DOLLARS for the new plan of paying for bandwidth only.


Seems maximum dollars reached...then....sorry....we have problems.... l33t closing...but you can donate money to help our debts.....---and we are moving on to new FUN things....

It seems they have everybody from MSN as ISP blocked. I know they have the 1-2 million who use MSNTV blocked. With MSN as ISP MSNTV is FREE so.....


As to MSN as ISP..... I'm on it now. I have multiple computers...use MSN as my ISP....


Any user name I ever used in last couple years at this place (webhostingtalk) is blocked it seems because at times I used MSNTV to post.

I know I have not personally been booted from such. I have posted there RARE and last post months ago.

As of now I can't even VIEW the messageboard. Your banned/blocked.


Right now I'm on a MSNTV IP #. Every time I dial up its different. I go to the computer and my ISP is MSN but there I have a totally different number than the MSNTV service (i.e.all numbers different).---and there every time I dial up its different.


So whatever....they have a whole range of MSN IP #'s blocked.

I guess I just don't learn. I only sent in a deposit to pay against metered bandwidth BUT I did it for just that. Not because I'm having FUN and just enjoy sending in money so somebody can buy a few more beers to drink or get a few more ounces of spinach to smoke.

It was a FREE host.Then went pay but a nice option of no monthly/yearly fee...just a bandwidth deposit.....(Canada host but gotta submit USA DOLLARS)

By messageboard it sounds like more of a collection of the lower grades in high school not some college project.

Its not always easy to detect the kiddie hosts.I have two pay sites on another host that is reliable but the personality of place is obnoxious and stupid. oooo...support is... PETER GATES-SENIOR LINUX ADMINISTRATOR. Support? Can't understand the most simple question. Then I discover PETER GATES is a high school kid? No offense but the experience of somebody 30 or 40? or older?

Yes..avoid these kiddie hosts !!!!! They seem to have no skill at operating a business and revenue seems to equate to past allowances they got from their parents. Money all gone....lost it at the shopping mall......
