I have about 200 backlinks to my site and a lot of them incoming... Why is it my pagerank hasn't rised yet?

Or how long does it take for google to figure out my page is actually worth something?

Google updates pageranks, at minimum, once per month.

True, but tell me. How do you know how quality they are if all the links are the same?

quality of the links means links from high PR sites.
if you get a few links from high PR sites, your PR will increase.
it takes time for google to update the pagerank of your site.
meanwhile keep up your work... build more links
