Just curious, how large should the image size limit be in your opnion? The size limit we have is per image, as opposed to per account like some other free hosts. So in practice, a user can have as many images as needed. In our experience, most images intended for websites are compressed to well within 200KB. It must be a very large image with many details to exceed the size limit.

On the other hand, we have now increased the limit to 512KB per image. Hopefully this should be sufficient for everyone.
 
I think 512KB is enough for normal use such as message boards, online auctions, classifieds and even sharing pictures with your family and friends! like CS-Eric said
 
We couldn't comment on other free host providers other than to say that each has its own niche and market. But hopefully, our services will be of interest to those wanting speedy complimentary image hosting services. Of course, we will continue evaluating and improving the service as needed.
