haha, no, i know i am not that old, but his comment sturck my as being funny saying he was older that everyone else, but i am like 7 years older. but, most of the people here arent really very old.

You have to be AT LEAST 13 YOA, otherwise due to the COPPA, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Erm, actually, COPPA says you have to have WRITTEN PERMISSION! In fact, I got a COPPA Request via E-Mail one day on a remotely hosted IPB I used to have, I accepted it though.
