I'm trying to update my BIOS thingey because I've got some blue screens while playing games saying I must..

So I go to asuss website and find my motherboard: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P4S800D-X

But the file is a .002
How do I use a .002???

Download Afudos BIOS update tool V2.11 . you get it in BIOS-Utilities folder.
Type in command (maybe you must restart your computer and set to Dos Mode):

AFUDOS.exe [your xxx.002 file]
ex: AFUDOS.exe P4S800D-X-ASUS-1006.002

Nugi.. just put it on a floppy (they still exist? I think not), CD or if your motherboard supports boot from USB, USB stick. When you turn on your computer just load up BIOS, navigate to BIOS upgrade or BIOS flash and it should find the file. Select it and it'll do the rest.

When you turn it on it says "Press blah to enter Setup" - usually some F key, on mine it's DEL.
