Hi! I need: - a fast & reliable host - 50+Mb - resonable bandwidth - ftp upload - CGI support (PHP and MySQL would be great, since I'm trying to learn those, but not essential) - and finally, no domain name I'll be content with a subdomain, I can't afford the $25 internic charge...

nope, I didn't touch the scripts at all since the day I installed them(which was a couple months ago) I'm still hoping that this is just temporary, looking for a new host and re-configure the scripts is so much of a hassle (sigh)

I have several cgi scripts running on tripod (site update, guestbook, diary), they've been working smoothly until today every scripts has been telling me: every once in a while... sometimes if I reload the page, it'll work again, but not the next time, etc etc, it just shows up...

It's hard enough to hope that one server won't go down, now I've to pray that both excelland and the reseller will stay online in order to keep my site? I need a server that provide at least 100mb with ftp file size limit doesn't matter since most of my files are less than one meg any kind...

I doubt any experienced HTML coder would want to use any of the WYSIWYG softwares... Their functions are far too ...fixed... for any creativity and the code they generate are too messy for future editing. Personally I don't think they are good for anything, I learned HTML in the ancient...

No... it actually comes with the drive Thanks for the reply. The PC Card (is that the same as SCSI adaptor?) did come with the drive. It's serial number is PKWBLRW10A, and I can't locate it on Panasonic's driver list online....
