I had a site about 40-something megs with almost all video files at SpacePorts. They'll give you space when you ask for it.
Go to http://www.spaceports.com , and look in their FAQ section about hosting video files.
I've been very pleased with them. Very good tech support, fast server, and best of all their cheap prices.
They're a good host to start out with. I'm not an advanced guy either, and they've been excellent for me.

If you're a beginner, I'd get some free hosting first for a while, then when you're sure about what you'll need for your video site, you'll be ready.
A good free host for hosting videos would be http://www.spaceports.com , but be aware that they only have 1 gig of bandwidth a month. :)

I already have. I prefer the HTML editor, but that's just my opinion.
Let's settle it on that: It's up to the person to decide whether an editor or scratch is better for him/her.

They're not bad. You don't even have to use them and their options, you can just write your own scratch HTML and let the editor help you on the way. Sure, Notepad is the more advanced way to go, but an editor can be just as good used properly.
It's tough to get a free host for video files, but there are a few.
