i want 50 mb -100 mb space
1 mysql databse
php
cpanel not must
5 gb band(not less)
no ads or i can put a text link(also maybe a adsense(small one not leaderboard size))

i will be having phpbb3 not 2 phpbb3 is a beta version
 
phpBB has no special requirements, so any host with PHP/MySQL should work.

I would advise against running phpBB 3 in a live environment now though. It's still in its early alpha stage and nowhere near complete.
 
the only thing with phpbb3 is that u won't get support so if u can manage things by urself then what's the prob?
i don't understand the prob in running a alpha ver
anbd abt secuirity holes nad bugs
they are there in all versions not only in beta
 
The problem is that it's not finished. :lol:

If you want to then by all means, go ahead. Just be aware that you likely won't be able to upgrade from the current alpha version to the final release.
 
try a higher version of PhPBB.
The once w/ cool add-on stuff like shop were you can designe your name.

phpbb3 is in alpha.
 
phpBB3 isn't yet an alpha. it's only a CVS version
as said Bruce, you shouldn't use it now, because you can't upgrade form this version to the final release
Taking a backup...no, it's stupid, because there will be changes also in the database

phpbb3 is ALPHA now NOT BETA!!! But anyways I could set one up for you. PM me for details.
