Any suggestions for a good anti spyware that doesn't take too much RAM?

I recently was reading an article where they were benchmarking anti-viruses. AVG is the most lightweight anti-virus, however it's accuracy and response time did not measure with the kinds of Kaspersky. But it was still alright.
I've been using AVGFree since god knows when and I'm still here, so they must be doing something right.

I don't run anything, but I would recommend Trend Micro Antivirus [altho their patent BS of late makes me wonder] not free though.

Spyware wise, Ad-Aware is good for free. Spyware Dr is my favorite period, but again not free. I think its worth the money though.

I'm an Avast! fan. AVG's interface is too klunky, and as was mentioned before, it's really not a great anti-virus program compared to some others. Kaspersky is not free.

I'm an avast user as well. Has yet to let me down and uses very little resources on my pc.

AVG in all is the best free antivirus. It stops everything, it also doesn't use up as much ram as many other antiviruses program. Kapersky is a good one as well however it's not free. If i was to purchase an antivirus i would buy the avg professional to support them.

As for antispyware i use AVGantispyware it's free hehe two defense software created by grisoft haha "very nice"

NOD 32 find viruses after Kaspersky in my laptop. NOD 32 is one of the best here.
Free antivirus sounds like friendly getway for viruses . Just kidding around.
