OK - let me explain -- about 3 years ago I treaded the waters of creating a website for my business of being a Notary Public in Maine. Not knowing any better I registered and hosted my domain carmanassoc.com with Yahoo :cry2:
A year later - still not knowing any better than earlier I decided to change my business name to my current one - The Maine Notary Net, at the time Yahell said I could have an add-on site to my account for cheap and like a sucker I believed them but when I tried this I was told I had to have a separate hosting account for each site - a crude and cruel way to get more money out of me :cry2: So now I was paying for 2 site that basically were conveying the same ideas except that the Maine notary net was/is going to be set up as a network of Notaries public to be listed and (new idea within the past few days) now maybe a website hosted by us for a little extra. I have just started really working on the http://www.mainenotarynet.com website and about 6 months ago dismanteled and cancelled carmanassoc.com (getting away from using my last name as it were)
Now a friend of mine makes beaded jewelry and we belong to a medieval group where other people make stuff to so I though -- what about making a website to sell their stuff too - thus http://www.kittykouchkrafters.com was born mor or less swapped carmanassoc for kittykouchkrafters
NOW I want to experiment with PHP and forms processing and adding a forum to my site problem -- Yahoo does not allow .htaccess files has nonexistant tech support for Options they offer us to use - they were a great first date (for 3 years) but its time to move on. so I started searching the www.simplemachinesforum.com/forums site to see who could handle what I want for around what I pay Yahell ($25.88 for 2 sites with 5GB space and 200GB data transfer per site per month)
Now I am in no way a big fish or extremly knowledgeable but in my checking I found a few hosts that looked ok (I not only go by what they offer but what their site has for details and looks like - If their site is informative and professional then chances are the company would be too (not alway I know)
I then saw about reselling so this is the way I may want to go
my MNN site = 483kb in total and the Kitties is 271kb very small so if I am going to have massive space why not try to resell some of it to prospective site members?
REQUEST -- please submit offers for Reseller pro-type or Master reseller Pro-type (hey if I going to do this I should make sure I have what I may need BEFORE I need it) the Price I am paying Yahoo is $26.00 a month and I am willing to go a little higher maybe $30-35 if a good deal is offered.
I have either 3 days or 33 days depending on how fast I can move as Yahoo comes out of my accouns on the 7th of each month.
Good luck in submitting your bids
