Requirements:

50 Mb of disk space

5 Gig's of bandwidth minimum

allowing of my own ad's

a free subdomain

php script support

This is a simple php proxy site.

I can make a deal with host have 1 of there ads as well as mine on the site

I'm hoping i can get more that 5 gig's of bandwidth as I'm sure the site will grow quickly.

I will make deals on host ads if so pm me;
And i can also do link back and host banners

An example of a proxy site is http://rome-space.com/bypass

May i ask why not?
I mean i would be getting alot of hits and a crap load of people would be seeing the host's banner....

So cheating at the least and breaking laws is a possibility, but definately bypassing security restrictions in place for a reason and that the users have most probably agreed to.

Proxies are usefull, for certain purposes, but so you can help cheat, and get ad revenue. Not so usefull.

Oh! and they can eat up resources.

Answer that lot well and someone reliable may come along with good terms for your behaviour to host it.

If you want to run a proxy to make money good luck. I have a few proxies running on a couple of servers and they are mostly abused by search engines and chinessee porn junkies.
I had a proxy raw9 it was running for 3 months then my host shut it down due to having search engines querying every second.
If you want a proxy best way is to build it then have them sign in with email and emai them ads you will get better return on your time and resources
 
haha thats funny how i use your site as an example and it turns up your on these forums. do you know of any good hosts i could use?
 
well i just hit a huge score
a buddy of mine owns a dedicated server.
which he hosts team fortress 2 servers on.
he gave be 10 gigs of space and 2 terabytes of bandwidth, and a free domain.

So I'm fairly set.
Thats enough bandwidth to start a network of em.

I've known the guy for about 6 years.
He knows he's giving me a deal to good to be true, but he can't be ---'ed to start hosting websites as a business. He has a dedicated box in his basement in which he hosts about 30 game servers for source games, tf2 pvk and some other ones.
I don't think he'll scrap my hosting that quick.

You do know your going to get a number of replies to that!

The simple fact of bandwidth provision makes it - well! Unless his basement has at lest one excellent pipe and from a provider that allows that sort of traffic. Glad he's got the cash to put into it as a hobby :)

(a) I never stated he was a customer of mine, simply that he was Satisfied, as such, he is.

(a) you infered he was a client of yours by the post.
(b) - (a) negates (b)

By (a) your essentially 'cheating' the host that they do have of the credit for this and misrepresenting yourself to the visitors to this forum.

It wasn't my intention to imply, or mislead, people who have trouble
comprehending sentences into thinking that he, or anyone else on this
forum, is a client of mine - since it's was readily apparent to people
reading the thread that I did no advertising, and simply asked the poster
questions about his request.

Since the poster stated that he found a "friend" who was going to give
him hosting it made it quite clear that it had nothing to do with the people
who had responded to the thread.

To which, another satisfied customer - try to draw the irony from that.

Try to disassociate yourself from being the provider before offering congratulations, the sentence reads that you are suggesting they are a client of yours, bad form.
