UK paid host??

Does any body know any UK paid host that allow you to paid by the solo card??
Or could any one tell me which site could I search for this?? ( UK Host, not US??)

http://www.kdawebservices.com - I use them to host unixfusion. I pay via solo card. They give excellent value for money. I speak to karl one of the owners daily on yahoo. He's very helpful and listens to what his customers have to say. I've spent over £150 theres in under a month thats how happy i am with the service.

I'm in the middle of setting up a resellers account there and could not be happier!. There prices arent the cheapest in the uk but then again you pay for the quality service. I'm currently on the basic account right now - with my own name servers which costs me nearly £20 a month for 50mb and 2gb bandwidth a month.

They are going to have a brilliant specail for february if i remember what karl told me yesterday it was - 200mb diskspace .... 15gb bandwidth .... php4 etc etc for £34.95 a month and im considering upgrading.

Should stop now but i cant say enough good things about this company they are awesome.

http://www.webfusion.com - They accept solo too - never hosted there but sites that are hosted there like younghosting.co.uk are very slow loading even for me on a 2mb line.

http://www.ghoulnet.com - Cheap and i mean cheap £25 a year 50mb space and 5gb bandwidth on cobalt raq4 servers. You have to pay extra for asp and mysql. I have an account there just use it for testing things - http://www.ft3.co.uk ... i have noticed that there servers have slowed down a lot in the last month or so. FTP is a nightmare at times.

http://www.xcalibre.co.uk - never used them but they seem to get rave reviews.

http://www.simple-internet.net - a company to avoid. They claim not to be affliated with the old Webnetics but they are same as the other company wiretags.com. Only mentioned them as they accept solo.

Kdawebservices looks good but servers aren't in the UK. I have been using one that Technics already mentioned. Look at the thread I linked... I don't dare to post it twice...

They are located at VDI...If you goto there website you will notice that they have improved the plans. My plan also got improved with the upgrade . My bandwidth just jumped a massive 8gb .

Yes our servers aren't in the UK but all of our customers have commented how much faster their sites are compared to their old hosts such as NetBenefit.

Server speed is a funny think.
Our servers at VDI are quicker than the ones at Xcalibre which is only 8 miles from here (of course the data has to go to London first) so having a server in the UK is not necessarily faster.

We take Solo card as well.
Tip: Any company that can take Switch can also take Solo.

That, I believe, can be correct if I'd be in the UK but if I'd be somewhere like in Northern Europe it could be 5-10 hops to the UK and 15-30 hops to the USA. So usually I'd have ~10 hops to LINX plus the additional hops to the USA. Hence, I choose the UK over the US.

Sites hosted somewhere in Europe can be lightning fast...sites hosted in the US can be only quite fast...
