I am planning to purchase Zone Alarm antivirus and firewall, can someone who is using zone alarm product confirm me that is it good or not.

I've used ZoneAlarm before and it just wasn't for me. If you're unsure, you can get a free version from their site. 
It's overall pretty secure, but I prefer the firewall 'Outpost' made by Agnitum. It's more hands on and configurable in my opinion. I'm sure someone else on here will be able to guide you more with ZoneAlarm, but again, I just didn't like it as much. Best of luck!
