who ever send a transfer reqeust first gets them

usually your domain registrar will charge you a transfer fee and then add on a year of ownership

The domains have expired with me, but will remain under my control for 2 months after they expire, so I should be able yo still let them go.

If it doesn't work, then I will have to spend $15.00 to renew them, and you can do it then and remburse me the $15.00 via paypal or something.

Or I can probably sell them on ebay and get some good cash.

Or ever send the transfer request first!
 
send a domain name transfer request. Who ever sends one first gets the domain. I have not recieved any yet!

Log into your favorite domain name company and press the "transfer domain" button, link or whatever they have!
 
ohh i see, in this case i dont want it. it cost me like reg a new one which why reg a new one when i can buy the one I like :)

The point is I have a couple of good domains that someone might be interested in that our unique enough to use.

I am getting private messages from people that want me to pay for the transfer requests, you guys are crazy. I try to do something nice and people want to take advantage.
 
Ummmm, the free domains that you are giving away, you mean they aren't really free? Why do they have to pay you for transfer? I recall getting a domain given to me a few years back and all I had to do was login with his details and then change the login to mine. When renewal time came around, I then transfered it to the my registrar at only the renewal cost.

They are free, you DO NOT pay me! You pay your register. The reason why you were able to login and change your name to yours was because that person probably owned one domain name.

I own over 100 domains names in 2 accounts at directnic.com. I surely cannot give you access into my account with 36 domain names in it now can I?

There domain names are really nice and I give them away for free and all I do is get hell for it. :confused4
 
ahh... I understand.

Login to your own domain register. Say you want to transfer either of the above three (or all), pay for the transfer free to your domain register.

When IGotDreams gets the email to make sure it was him who initiated the transfer, he'll just say 'yes' and it'll be yours. This way the domain never comes available.

The only problem is... if the domains are in the stage after expiration and available - there's a $200 fee to renew the domains at that point. Unless I'm widly mistaken ;)
 
yes you are mistaken, it will just cost you the fee of a new signup. But these domains will never get that far. You see these will show up on a list of daily expired domain names and will be bought instantly. I am sure the owner of dreampages.com is just waiting for my name to expire.

Yes you can, all u need is change the DNS from that free domain to our DNS. should solve the login prob. but once again, it cost too transfer (which is very weird)
