Ye, that law was ruled out before it actually took effect, they were just trying to see if they can get the cash rebate for the water tanks back from the people somehow in the long run, but it didn't go through, this is like back in 07.

I think this utterly the most ridiculous idea proposed and passed from the Australian government, well just see how well Australians... including myself climb ourselves out of a soon to be recession with this $950.

Japan had tried a similar approach in quite a very long time ago yet are still in recovery from the idea.
