I agree, unless this person is masively overselling the server, their is no way he can offer that price.

That's a little misleading, if you look at that package it only works out at $2.99 a month if you pay for a whole year, otherwise it's $5.99 a month and i wouldn't suggest paying a whole year upfront to a host that's only been around a few weeks.
