Adding banner code to a php script?

I was wondering how I could add my web host's banner code to a php script I have installed as my web host requires me to display their banners on all of my pages.

The script is Journalness.

Go to:
templates/YOUR-TEMPLATE/header.tpl

Put the ad code in that file. ^^

Orange: Replace it with the template that you are currently using.

Green: If you don't want the ad to be in the header, then choose a different file.

Thanks ...but I couldn't even install the latest version of the script (Journalness) as there was no readme file, or config.php included. I might just install the older version I have saved on my pc?
