How to sign up

To sign up .

  • Specify what of the above technologies you would like to use (be honest we are looking for diversity)
  • Desired username/password and email address
  • Your desired domain name

Your account will be setup immediately upon recieving this PM as space allows. You will recieve an email from our control panel with your credentials and server info.

You should already have a domain name or register a new one or use a subdomain on our servers.

A domain name is required to setup dns for your site. If you do not have one then you must use a subdomain i.e. yourname.ourcompany.com

So,you want people to pm you that info in the quote? And we have to tell you what we are going to use?

It isn't,but I was just wondering and may you provide other ways to contact you in a pm?Like on an im like aim or msn im

A user requested services and an account was setup but then we had no way to reach him because he failed to provide an email address. Please do not forget to supply your email address.

If you would prefer to email instead send an email to support@savinet.net

So, its for free till people are sending you support tickets. Meaning if they don't have problem with hosted account, they will have problem with host ?
They'll loose it if they are not having problems, right ?
I am just interpretting what has been mentioend and trying to clear out the confusion. And what happens when you have tested your services , what will be the fate of the testers and their sites ?

That means that those testing will get domain from you while in same thread you ask them to register or own. It needs rewording nd what you get phrase is sued to tell users what host will give them and if you are giving users domain tell them and if you want them to get one for themselves, then this needs to be removed.

I may be interested if its convincing and I don't end up loosing hosting once I have helped you test for some time. Afterall, no one wants to be a nomad, every few days.

I dont know how much clearer we can be! WE DO NOT REGISTER DOMIAINS. YOU MUST OWN YOUR OWN OR REGISTER A NEW ONE. Many free hosting companies will not let you host yourcompany.com WE DO.

That logic is backwards. If no one has problems using all of those technologies then we can begin offering our service to the public. We have no need to terminate accounts if there are no problems. That is not what we're about.

NEW:
All accounts will be hosted for one year as supplies last. Regardless of the number of support tickets as long as they adhere to our AUP After one year they can purchase an additional year for $50

Read again, why do you think I raised that issue. You contradicted yourself not once but twice there.

And nowadays most host let you have domain hosting, so nothing unique here.

You may just want to reword your offers.

So, you're saying that we only get this hosting for one year and I cannot send emails for 30 days? The latter is a bigger problem, the first is just an inconvenience! I'd go for this if we could send e-mails to begin with, as that is an integral part of the site and its domain name!

I agree with X3rOX about the domain names thing. Most people would never give away free domain names, and you are kidding yourself if you think they would when they've just started up! I was merely saying that this is a great deal, but only getting the hosting free for one year can be beaten by many webhosts and the inability to send emails for the first 30 days is simply ludircous!
