Ok, I'm looking for a host that supports bill me later as a payment option, no one has fat pockets unless they're kids!

I'm looking at 20-30 dollars a month, so basically a top notch host.

5TB space
100TB bandwidth

I've seen larger space offered, but for 20-30 I can probably get more.

If anything supports bill me later, please post.
Apple supports it!
 
A New thing that seems to be popping up everywhere, nairahost seems to use it, though in "N" currency which i have no clue what it is.

Walmart
apple
micrsoft
amazon
ebay
and many other's use it

Will it pop into webhosting as a payment option, since many don't want to use there credit card or give it out even to paypal.
 
There's a huge difference.
Shared hosting is cheap, reseller, and VPS are cheap. Since they are services that need to be payed for by the hoster to pay their company bills to make a living, they can't offer credit.

That is all these companies offer. they have the money to spend on baylif firms if you don't make a payment, they have huge profit margins from elsewhere. this would only be an option if it was colocation hosting. As the user will be hosting IN your presence. NOT behind a computer screen.
 
Okay, we support PayPal but do not offer Bill Me Later as a payment option. This is due to the fact that we don't want to give someone several days of service and then simply allow them to wander off without paying a penny. The amount we charge monthly would probably be too small to send someone to collections over, and so we can't offer this to you. Also, this practise could result in spammers which we don't want to have using our system for obvious reasons.

The amount that you are looking for, as stated by other people, is quite simply ridiculous. Go take a look at Amazon's S3 pricing - for storage only, you're looking at a hige bill per gigabyte. How much storage do you need, and what would you be hosting?

After getting some information on what you realistically need and what you will be hosting, then I can put together a quote for you.

Both requests are ridiculous.. The "Bill Me Later" and "Space and Bandwidth".

Especially for $20-$30 a month is not reasonable, you are looking to spend tens of thousands per month to fulfill that request.

As CI-Theo explained, that "Bill Me Later" function is not adequate for web hosts, seeing how the price per month is small and to send someone to collections would be a waste of time.

Bill Me Later is not run by those companies, it is a third party credit company, so they aren't taking a risk, the credit company is.
 
Your post makes no sense. How is using Bill Me Later any different than using Paypal with a credit card?

Haha, is this a joke? You can probably get more? How many hosts do you think have 5 1000GB hard drives on one server for one client?

I am afraid I will not be making an offer :shame:

Then why did you make a post here.

Never the less, I believe that the ultimate goal of the OP was not to have their hosting request fulfilled, but more or less to introduce bill me later to hosts.

However, bill me later is pretty useless for international services as it is limited to the US.
 
I'm fairly certain that I've never seen a host take 'Bill Me Later'. All it is, is another line of credit. Stick to a third party payment system if you're that worried, such as PayPal, Google Checkout, Moneybookers, etc.

No they don't CIT bank takes the risk. It is no different than accepting Mastercard of Visa. You get paid even if they client decides not to pay their credit card bill.

Think of it in terms of a credit card but without the interest rate (I assume it has no interest) they charge the buyer more to cover the fees and the seller gets the amount they were selling said item or service for. If the buyer doesn't pay their account bill, like all line of credit companies, their charged fees. If they do not pay them, like all line of credit companies, they will have a debt collector knock at their door, or they will be summoned.
 
Heh, I don't think he understands the concept of overselling.

5TB is a HUGE request. I'm not sure any host can spare 5 TB for one single client. Most likely, you'll be part of the oversold group on that server.

You get what you pay for. $20-30 budget for shared hosting isn't a bad budget. But if you're seriously going to request 5 TB 100TB for $30...no host will honor that.

And just in case you were thinking about Unlimited HDD/BW...there's no such thing. Hosts have caps written in their TOS
