geez optus suck now. so does broadband down under.

the new optus deals are like ferarri selling you a car and saying "you can drive it for 10km, but after that you can only drive at 5km/h"

its a total joke!

i dont wanna have to say it, but i might even go back to dialup!

Toefur did you choose someone yet? :cry2: (ISP I mean, not between H and meow)

http://www.useoz.com/ is looking okay and apparently somewhere in the signup process there is some promotion for dingoblue users. I might use dot.net.au on a month by month basis as well :confused2

this reeks!

optus' pay tv: losing money since it started
optus' b-band: has most of the market. making profits

telstra/fox pay tv: making huge profits
telstra b-band: struggling

now their prices are almost exactly the same!!

i think foxtel may have threatened optus with "bring your broadband into line with my good friends Telstra or we won't play mergers with you" and Optus being as desperate as they are to merge pay tv services with fox, have bent over.

this has got to be a back-door deal.

They certainly need to get their act together and make it more affordable or it will never take off on a large scale :confused2

How's your ISP plans coming along Robert?

Good, trying to secure a position on the comindico network. Although, connect.com.au is really pushing hard for us to buy off them.

They'll do that Rob. :) We expressed some interest in them in 2000 when we dropped our VISP provider. We still get an occasional email now.

Good luck with it all though.

Gary
