ColdHost

Xwebhost.com has nothing to do with rackshack. The network at xwebhost.com is Tier 1 only as we use only the 2 best data centers in the USA. No cogent on Xwebhost.com networks. Only the good stuff.

You can plainly see we offer way better dedicated server packages (fully managed) with way more bandwidth than rackshack. We also include WHM/CPanel which rackshack does not. And... lastly... no cogent on our network.

Daniel... The whois info for coldhost.com is in no way associated with us. Why did you make such a claim? I await a reply :)

That's why I figured that ColdHost has something to do with xwebhost. Don't ask why....
 
That is not even our IP.. looks like someone setup a fake PTR record to me. Also.. I'm sure glad that's not our IP.. I'd hate to think anyone has a 50+ms ping to our networks.. even clients from Europe ping under 75ms to us.
 
I just contacted Rackshack and it seems one of their clients might have put in a PTR record request to show our domain?? I guess it's cool that others want their clients to think they are on our network... kinda made our day :)

You can do a trace on xwebhost.com and cleary see we are not part of the rackshack network. The PTR should be fixed ASAP.

you offer more transfer, but at a much higher rate... i could get around 900 gigs at rackshack for what you charge for 500. not criticizing, just clarifying. :cool:
 
1000 gb is $299 + $299 setup ($600) at RS and just for your info.. they have all their large bandwidth machines on 100% cogent.

Ours is $229 with 0 setup and all Tier 1 bandwidth (over 75 providers meeting in one spot). We also include CPanel/WHM (which can cost $75 per month all by itself) and give support.

Our machines are not "unmanaged" :)

There is no comparison :)

No offense taken.. just wanted to sort things out :)
