In case any of you might be interested, I have made a bit of a website out of my recent run-in with the @Home abuse department.
Basically I came accross an unsolicited usenet post (aka "spam") that was from a notorious scam artist who peddles pirated software. The guy goes by the name of Arthur Schwartz and runs a sham website called "Perfect Shareware". He supposedly sells pirated software (warez) from his website, but apparently none of his warez links work. Instead, he steals people's credit card numbers who sign up for the service. Anyway, I posted a message that warned people of this scam and advised against using it. Apparently, @home feels this act is a violation of their AUP.

I don't intend this message to be spam of any kind, rather I just wish to get the word out on @home's strange abuse team protocol.
