domain name problems

i was hoping someone on here might be able to give me some ideas on the domain problem i'm having

i have 3 domain names registered with 123reg, i've had them hosted with a host i found here (voltagehost) i tried to change the hosting on one of them a while back and got this problem, when i change the nameservers away from voltagehost all i get is this error

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section

i've tried several different hosts for the new name servers and get the same with each one,
the issue was fixed originally by me staying with voltagehost and them giving me some temporary nameservers (which tured out to be permanant because they couldn't find a fix for it)

now voltagehost has vanished and i'm faceing the same problem again, its almost as tho the domains are locked to voltagehost and i cant move them away,

What domain names?

Usually you need to go into the domain registration itself and change which nameserver set it is using. It takes a while for that change to go into effect due to the Time To Live of the DNS protocol at that level, but after a few hours it should be working using the new nameservers.

Try that utility on one of them. It should tell you where the problem is.

i'm not sure if i'll be allowed to post them here as some were adult sites (obviously nothing there now with the host gone) so i'll remove them if needed,

facebookgamez.co.uk (this is still pointing to the voltagehost nameservers, just shows there account suspended page)

well, looks like your DNS Zone File isn't set up properly (at least for tubeofporn.co.uk). No A records, no MX records... Fix this and your website should work.

If you need help with this, contact me.

@James , Rosslo has suggested above that you setup the DNS correctly .

I suggest setting the 'child name servers' to your new ip addresses .
Then wait for a few hours(do not mess with your dns or child name servers during this time) . It can take upto 72hrs depending upon your domain registrar(generally takes 8hrs for most registrars I have been with) .

If it doesn't work even after 72hrs , contact the support department of your domain registrar and report your issue . It could be an issue on their side too .

Best Regards,

ROSSLO totally hit it on the head. Things should be functional pretty much.

Actually siber forum is right .
The domain propagated with the help of a dns cluster .
Now it's running fine .
Thanks everyone for the help .
Really appreciated both by myself and James...
