Facebook Fan Pages

I have asked this before, but that thread I am sure is closed by now.

Anyways, I know a few fan pages that are part of different groups on Facebook. However, when I try and join groups using my business profile fan page, I get no options for groups.

Plus, most of them are like personal pages where you can become their "friend" instead of "liking" them.

I know Facebook offers you to merge your personal account to Facebook, but is that what I need to do?

I cant edit my personal account to reflect my business name, or anything.

Maybe clicking editing personal setting / account setting...
I am pretty sure that I have seen this function before...which it asks me to merge accounts.

It's not a tough task to join any particular relevant page and start discussion, it might be possible you are not getting right option please go for search you'll get easily.
