We would like to introduce our forum site forumku(.)com
forumku comes from the word forum and ku , ending-in -ku means "my" in English. So forumku literally means "my forum".

In Indonesia, we are almost 60 millions netizen. We are third largest user of facebook totalling 43,060,360 , 5th of twitter user of and the 8th biggest netizen (55 Millions) in the world.

Indonesian really like to share knowledge, information, to socialize, to chat , to discuss about literally everything.
No. 1 Indonesian site is currently a forum website, it has #8 Alexa ID rank and #337 Global rank.

We, forumku.com , intend to be no.1 in Indonesia. We are just 4 months old and the respons is great, we have 500 user within 3 months, we estimated to have 1500 user by the end of 2012. By the end of 2013 we are projecting to get 700000 user.

In order to cater that number of user, we forumku, is looking for a partner who can provide us with server infrastructure.
Ideally within north america. We have secured the domain name until 10/10/2020 to show our seriousness.

We can provide you with the ad slot 234 x 60 in every footer. and also a message of " server funded and provided by: " in every page.

The following specification will be sufficient , and can be further negotiable

Intel Celeron E (Dual-Core) 2.5GHz
4GB RAM
2x 500GB SATA 7200rpm
Linux Entreprise - CentOS - 64 bits + cPanel/WHM

Since you are running forum, why do you need a dedicated server? The problem lies here is the bandwidth needed. Does it has any warez in the forum?

Dear Mr. kyroskoh, thank you for your inquiries.

We need dedicated server as to project the growth of our forum in 2013 and beyond. the no.1 sites in Indonesia, is a forum website , with almost 5 million users and million pageviews daily. I can send you the website name through PM if you want.

Based on that projection, that we want to achieve 1500 user by the end of 2012 and 700 000 user by the end 2013 and hopefully to million user afterward, so we require the dedicated server as also we want to start focusing on the marketing and other online and offline community activity as part of achieving the goal to take over that website position.

There are positive feedback that our site has the potentials to be no. 1 in Indonesia.

As for the bandwidth, we are start evaluating the CDN prior to implementation , when required.

Does it has any warez in the forum?

NO. No warez, no porns, no scams, no criminal, no illegal activity. Even we don't allow illegal software etc. That is why we call ourselves forumku.com : a positive indonesia(n) community.

With the information given above, it is clearly that it doesn't need a Full-Owned Sponsored Dedicated Server as a willing party may provide up-to-unlimited bandwidth to cater your needs.

And it is kinda unpredictable of the amount of "high"-leap for your users as you said "achieve 1500 users by the end of 2012" and "700k users by the end of 2013". I am not sure what kind of "biz" forum it is.

I would like to know more about that in PM if you are willing to share with me or in this thread (which other people may keen to know as well).

P.S: All you need is as much bandwidth you can get. Unlimited on 100mbps = 33TB bandwidth which it is a lot for pure webpage views like Forum which it contains mostly texts and does not required huge loads even it is populated. The server which can cater this, may needs to be in a CDN network, Reliable Premium Network, high powered processor and high CPU cores/cache and the rest is not as important.

I guess all of them may fulfill the hardware requirements but having a paid server, cPanel license is another problem. So how you will help the "server owner" back for more than a few thousands of dollars of that "free" running cost?
