Hi All,

Looking for Australian based hosting (don't bother contacting me/responding unless you have servers based in Australia!)

I'm looking for the below specs below:

Disk space: 50mb - more would be good!
POP/SMTP access: (server MUST have good SPAM protection... latest spamassassin would be good!)

Asking price: under AUD$5 per month...

http://www.servage.net - am not sure of these guyz, as there say there are located in australia but there got server everywhere. Am with them but only using them for storing datafiles and bandwidth.

Just wanted to know, why are you after a aussie host, you can get better deals overseas. There are many good quality hosts like jodohost.com, yetihost.com (am currently with them). But there are also hosts are the opposite like dh4.net, apollohosting.com and after research found them to be crap.

I recently became reseller host, and if it works out, am planning to buy proper servers back home in oz and start hosting coming....

Hi,

I was after hosting ideally just to host a couple of email accounts(POP3/SMTP), and needed high speed, and quick access to them...

I've decided that I won't bother, and I already have a unlimited US based server, so it obviously isn't a problem to set email accounts up on a US server!

hmmm how come we have two vinny's posting here? And I wasn't looking for a host ;) I am quite happy with one I have and prior to that I was with aussiehosts.com for three years.

Hmmm.. good point.. I could see that you just weren't looking for a host... Others must of missed that as well!

Bandwidth is the only real issue with aussie based servers
if you dont need much bandwidth then you shouldnt have to much trouble finding a host @ that price but yeah most aussie hosts dont really care as much about webspace as they do bandwidth
Iv looked in to aussie servers befor but the data costs where just going to be to high for me to start out using aussie servers :x
