I dont understand the concept of posting for hosting what does the hoster gain out of people wasting their time posting crap that they dont want to? does it make the hosting company gain popularity or something can someone care to explain maybe u can dude as ur asking people to post everymonth. What does a hosting company like u get out of posting just to get hosting? doesnt it eat away ur own resources and bw and than u get to offer less bw and space?

As long as the user go back to forum to post, they will view the ads and somewhere along the line gain some revenue.

It costs aproxamtly $100/mo to get 40gb space and 400gb bandwidth. Where do you think all this money comes from? Free hosting is free because of ad revenue from forums. Google adsense on the top of each page from $0.05 to $50 per click (it's true!). If you don't wan't ads on your page, then ads on frequently visited forums is the best altrenative!

wow it costs that much i thought it cost 100 bucks to get a dedicated 80gb 1000gb bw permonth when did they increase the prices for hosting?

Oh and still i dont get it how many people clicks on the ads ? i know that i havent clicked on single ad found here on the forums itself i been here daily but i doubt i clicked any ad. so, whats with the hosting for posting cause it doesnt mean that the users who come back again will definately click on ads.

And i been told that if u offer free hosting or something like that u get some tax deduction on the payments u get from other paid clients am i wrong in this?

Link107 I think I can say for everyone here im truly feed up with your constant negativity on these forums. Everyone is here to offer something and you should be grateful for that.

I mean come on, your asking for a FREE SERVER for christs sake. If someone asked you to do something for that such as posting, wouldnt you do it? If people need the hosting, then they will post.

Yes, the ads generate sufficent revenue for the hosts of hosting. As for paid hosting, I dont have anyone on that server who is paid nor do I care if I ever do. Its main purpose is free hosting, whoever wants paid hosting pays for the 99.9% uptime guarantee and no posting.

How do I pay for this? I operate other hosts and do Professional web and graphics design which generates money for both my personal needs and also my server/s.

Now please, either leave and shutup or post something constructive and stop continually pissing everyone off
