Free Hosting Die Out?

As more and more ad blockers are used by everyone on the internet free hosting could cease to exist. Most free hosters e.g. geocities and tripod rely on ads to provide free hosting but because ads are being blocked they just wont earn enough or get enough people who want to advertise services like this could stop. Only companies such as Club Host with funding from another business will survive and be able to provide hosting as they dont rely on ads like most other free hosting companies. I suggest you either use Club Host or start earning some money.

Earning money isnt hard you can either read surveys from GoZing or many other ways.

Please reply and tell me what you think wether you agree or disagree....
 
I disagree. There were always be free hosting. Just that people are getting to greedy nowadays. They want tons of space and bandwidth, and they offer nothing in return, not even a text link back to the site that gives you the hosting.

Why is everyone a walking advertisement for Club Host?
 
maybe they just have alot of happy FREE HOSTED customers, or that they are being forced to say this (which i seriously doubt).
 
hmm I disagree with free hosts disappearing. I do agree with people are getting greedy and such. I think a lot of hosts that are just starting out, they tend to want to provide as much as they can so they do something like 100mb of space and 5 gb of bandwidth when you signup.
I reckon free hosts should never give out that much, if your site is using 100mb of space and even a few gigs of bandwidth per month, your site should be big enough that you should be able to put some advertisement on your site and pay for hosting. It's mostly people who own these big sites and are too cheap to put advertisement on there sites that are killing these free hosts

Some of those domains are still used as alternate choices, others
now serve another purpose, and some were sold or allowed to expire.

It's all the same service and been running continuously for 7 1/2 years
but have gone through a number of name changes for various reasons.
In example, people kept thinking "u69.us" was a porn site by mistake so
we changed names to "clubhost", etc..
