How often do you back up your server, what about your databases?

I think backing up is very important and necessary thing in hosting. If you want to be in this business and it profits you, you have to do back up as often as you can.

All accounts on the server are setup with the typical cPanel daily/weekly/monthly backups to a secondary hard disk and that typically helps users that lose data or email with any problems they may have.

For disaster recovery that sort of backup plan won't be enough to keep data safe in case of a hardware failure of the drives. To handle this sort of thing all accounts are also backed up to an NAS that is geographically separated from server once per week.

I am happy with this sort of backup plan and I think it serves our needs quite well.
