Why do you need our real ISP mail? I don't have one and only use yahoo.

I would think to avoid spammers or abusers. People can make 100 million yahoo, hotmail, etc accounts but if anything gets shady, like warez hosting, they can nip the hosting and pursue any legal action should they themselves get in trouble.

Also you should have an isp mail account, something like xxx@comcast.net or verizon.net. If underage, whomever has the service has the account (parents). You may be able to create an email account with them, I think most allow for household members to have one.
