i believe l33t.ca gives shell access ...

but even some paid hosts don't offer shell .....

HMM - irc tends to take up alot of bandwidth , so l33t.ca may not be good for that ... so youre gonna have to pay for this ....

i don't think they provide free shells, but you can try fee shells. heh.

l33t.ca does give you shell access but is slow as hell.

try host.sk, sometimes they have quite acceptable speeds @shell.

most free shells will kick you off real quick if you try to run bots or bnc on them. the ones i do know of -- freedomshell.com, daforest.org, shack.mine.nu -- are all down. your best bet is to cough up some money for a paid shell; that way you also get stability, which free shell providers can't do. try http://www.eggxpress.com for price and feature comparisons.
