I have been receving complaints recently because my website has been down due to my previous webhost moving server and losing my files last week and my current webhost being pretty useless with an alarming amount of server downtime! Therefroe, I urgently require a webhost that can offer me:

At least 250 MB space (500 would be better)
At least 1GB b/w (any more would be appreciated)
At least 50 addon domains (any more would be appreciated, unlimited would be perfect)
At least 1 parked domain
Must support PHP
Must have access to online CPanel with Fantastico
NO FORUM POSTING, but I will place your ads on every page if you wish!

Can anyone help please?

Tempting, but it would be helpful if you explained how I would be able to request this!

And X10hosting.com stops responding after i have entered my subdoamin preference!

I have requested hosting from x10hosting.com now, it was just a bit on the slow side earlier! The only problem is that they do not accept accounts instantyl or almost instantly, and I really need the account setup by tomorrow evening at the latest!

php
cpanel
fantastico
NO ADS OR FORUM POSTING
www.catch-free.com (as mentioned you'll need to wait 1-2 days)

Actually, X10hosting.com is a better offer, and yours would be the last I'd choose because of having to wait!

I only just saw this thread just now but we have instant activations
available at Clubhost City and can get you online in just a couple
of seconds. Our Thunder account might meet your requirements ...

  • 500 MB Web Space
  • 40 GB Data Transfer
  • Latest Cpanel w/Fantastico
  • PHP Version 5.1.2
  • FTP, Email, Webmail, Statistics
  • MySQL v4.1.14 or Greater
  • No Forum Posting Requirements
  • No Forced Advertisements
  • 99.9% Average Uptime

We say 99.9% but our current record has been a perfect 100% uptime
since March 2005 and somewhere between 97% and 98% average
uptime spread out over the 8 years preceeding that date.

Just a tip and some important news ...

I noticed that you mentioned "slow" talking about both your current and
prospective hosts. You should probably be advised that 5 major gateway
cities in the world are having very serious backbone problems and it is
causing about 50% of the internet traffic to appear slower than it really
is due to high latency and packet loss so what you see may or may not
be a problem with the host. They might actually be online and fast to
some people in the world while you think they are down and vice versa.

The way to tell if you are running into some of those bad areas on the
internet is to run some traceroutes and take a note of any hop points
that have unusually high ping times or lost packets prior to the final
destination.

Apparently, I am on an IP Blacklist (!?!), so I cannot register on your forums or register for the hosting!

Don't worry, many people are on their IP blacklist.
Even I am in their blacklist :eek2: :p and I have never abused their service but my IP can change, so if someone else did anything bad using same IP, they seem to have blocked entire ISP.

Now he would ask you about your IP, never realising that dynamic IPs when blocked make no difference and some silly script they boast of has entire ranges blocked for dynamic IP.

So as per them all are guilty untill proved inncocent.

A logic no law enforces.

Don't bother much there, there are many better hosts out there.

ROFL! TAnderson, still jealous as always I see ....

I do believe you owe us a very serious appology for your message and
incidentally what you said above is a false assumption and a lie but
then you already knew that ....

You are wrong! We not block whole ISPs or any large IP blocks!

The only IPs that we block specifically are just those of confirmed
proxy servers, hosting servers, and open relays only.

If you are not using a proxy server then you were not blocked by us
directly but rather by one of the major spam blacklist databases
such as SpamCop or similiar and you would only be disallowed from
signing up from web hosting and not from visiting our web site!

Oh by the way, our own blocking technology against bad users like
yourself doesn't have anything to do with IP address but rather is based
on the user's computer itself which probably in and of itself is too much
of a clue how it actually works so I will shut up now.

What you just said is enough to tell me that it is a 3rd party
blacklist database that has your IP listed because our
forum community signup page is where the RBL checks
are performed against your IP.

If you send me your IP address in private message, I can lookup
and see who has your IP listed so that you can contact that
blacklist service to get your IP removed.

Depending on the reason why they have your IP blacklisted,
I may be able to set an override in our system to allow
you to go ahead and signup despite your IP being listed.

Still you haven't learned a lesson!
Jealous of what ? I am not a host in first place and you don't have that great credentials even to make anyone jealous. People who judge applicants by IPs, most of which are dynamic, how sensible they can be ? :p
Whatever boasting you do, doesn't justify to any extent how secure your systems or hosting is. Its your hosting, whom you give its upto you, but under no circumstances you have any right to raise a finger on anyone without even knowing ABC of what you boast. :readthis:

Just don't blame anyone without having facts and evidence.

Hilarious it gets, I used a home PC to register on forum and its DNS-blackhole, I try from office using my office laptop with a different net connection, even same comes for that. Amused by your logic though, I asked a friend of mine to try and hes from diff. state with diff. ISP, and he's also blocked, same silly message.

You and your host owe a serious and well directed applogy to all whom you throw those silly useless messages without even giving them chance to apply. If you do not want to give them chance, tell that flat, don't pass buck on them. Most people use dynamic IPs and so is mine, now thats the way my ISP works but its not proxy one. How sensible is it to block people or judge them by IP, really boasts of quality of people you have on rolls there and nature of services offered. Sensible people use applicants views and descriptions to judge evenif IPs are listed black, for nowadays dynamic IPs have really dissolved the significance of IP alone.

People who might have abused, would have got other methods or even diff. ISP and now who pays the price, its others who are using the IP without having any such intention or knowledge.

You don't catch a criminal, its fine but you just don't label most of the people as criminal and ask them to proove themselves innocent.

On what basis can you say that ? I need a justification man. its a personal attack and you need to watch here. I have been a helpful member here as well as other places I have been or I go and just because I don't agree with you does not mean I am bad. Just stop from personal attacks, would you ?

You can at maximum recognise MAC address, nothing more, and all it needs is a diff. LAN or similar to change that besides format. So, don't talk about those as logics.

Exactly the same as happened in my case. You posted simialr reply and then quickly jumped to PM abusing me and explaining me your so called logics as if Billy boy employed you yesterday. Thing is I didn't bend to it and refused to accept your logics and provide you with IP, its a dynamic one, so useless, because it will change next session.

I would still request, don't use principle of guilty untill prooven innocent.
Wisemen, understand both sides and say innocent untill prooven guilty.

Peace

Thomas
