Oh you bet it's gotten bad. We dont delete 24/7 as we have automation in place that detects it for us and we delete them in batches with a single click of a button, but some still get through, so we go thru and kill off the warez that gets through about once every couple of months. We have our Warez Team that does that. They pull all sorts of stunts to get through...which is also the easiest way to detect them...like when they take a zip/tar and put gif header in it to make a tiny 32x32 image show up for a 500k file..hehe, that is by far the easiest to have a program auto detect, and you can kill them without worrying if you are deleting something that's legit. I have even had warez masters threaten to sue me because I deleted them while disregarding their disclaimer.....which I never saw anyway since it was the system that deleted them (Ok, so I hit the button, but I didnt see their sites).
I cant believe these little script kiddies are that damned stupid to even think they could sue us for deleting them for doing something illegal. Come to think of it, I cant believe they are so stupid as to even email and think we would actually start shaking in fear over their silly threats... I can just see them bragiing to their elementary school playground buddies " I sent them a letter threatening to sue, they wont delete ME again! Mommy, I need my diaper changed again!"
