go.com is going down

i have a free site on the GO network, and have just received this notice stating that they will no longer be available...read for yourself:

We regret to inform you that Go.com in its current form soon will no
longer be available. Effective immediately, phone and email support
will no longer be provided.

You can continue to use your existing GO.com Free Home Page during the
transition period. We strongly suggest you copy or transfer your Home
Page to the hard drive of your PC. At the close of the transition
period, we may suggest an alternative provider to whom you can transfer
your pages, or these Home Pages may no longer be accessible.

Although GO.com in its current form will no longer be available, many of

soon become available throughout our family of sites. The site itself
and the features it offers may be transferred to or available through a
different site.

... so now i have to find a new home!

Yes, I posted about it last week. It's sad, isn't it. I had half-a-dozen sites with go.com and am finding new homes for them. I could bite Disney for doing this to us. Have you visited the homepages.go.com message board? One of the regulars has set up a new message board for go.com refugees.

thanks! i've felt all alone in this, but i'm sure there are a ton of people in the same situation. i just came across this site in my search for a new home. it looks like a good forum so far.
