Can someone help me urgently, when I try to reformat my comp from ME to XP i keep getting the message below. I will enter setup fine and create partition etc... all fine but then when it comes time to reboot and enter into the main setup the message appears. Any ideas?

Anyway, there's a couple of things it could be.

Windows is picky about the jumpers on your drives. Make sure all your drives (both hard drives and optical drives) are using cable select or slave/master.

Also, try running fdisk again, but formatting it as a FAT32 partition instead. Then when you install WinXP, let it convert the partition to NTFS.
