I recently have signed up for X3hosting and it was fantastic! Please have a look at it.

This isnt my site but I am a member of it, it offers FREE hosting (as well as paid - i think) and also the support is fantastic.

9.9.8 is the current version of cPanel. cPanel X is a theme for the control panel. :p
