hotlinking

OK, I have been surfing the net two days straight to find a website that allows hotlinking/remote linking or whatever you want to call it. I found ONE that gives you 1MB of space. I mean, I'm not exactly asking for a lot: 20MB of space is enough, and I don't mind anything more than 5MB of bw. Can anyone help me? Anyone at all?

..how big is the file..? most free hosts don't allow hotlinking...

and 20 mb space and 5 mb of bw....

Hosts don't allow it since they can't put ads on it and make money.

20 MB Space & only 5 MB data transfer?? You know, most ISP's provide free web space, maybe call yours up and ask them if they do.

theelf: yeah, i use AOL and it's free hosting does allow hotlinking but the website is seriously weird, and it's pretty hard to get around, plus it doesn't have advanced HTML editing, so I gave up on that one.

resshin: well my website's a MIDI file site, and basically, it's for Neopet users, which I'm addicted to, and they need the music for their shops, etc (visit it Neopets.com, and u'll understand me) so my website needs to be hosted by one that allows hotlinking, enabling the users to link straight to my site.

you could get an additional 20 megs from netscape plus with your aolhell account space , than u can hotlink till the cows come in. aol still has ftp, netscape is browser upload only

You can nix your Boomspeed discovery...They now only allow linking to auction sites. All others will be deleted.

well said, mosts host's dont allow it. I suggest just getting a paid hosting account but one of thoes cheap $1 a month things. Hey, then you can hotlink! :devious2:
