Hotspot

hello,

I am looking for some software i can use to create a hotspot in my area. i am a small retial shop wanting to offer it out within the cafe next door but i cant find any software to do it with. We have a 2MB ADSL line and a belkin wireless router.

Any ideas would be good

Honestly, there's nothing really to set up. You say you already have a wireless router, so put up a sign saying "Free Wi-Fi" and you're good to go.

The wireless signal will automatically be picked up by all properly configured laptops/PDAs.

yeah thats the easy setup for a free one but i want it paid lol.

Well, like the saying goes, in order to make money you need to spend money.

I don't believe there are any free ways of setting up paid Wi-Fi (unless you try the trust factor and them handing you cash ).

If you go a couple pages farther into that article they discuss a number of paid solutions as well.
