I have a nice midi collection. Watching the get smart movie inspired me to play a bunch of old TV themes
Im also a fan of the music in alot of old Video Games. I often play old game MIDIs when feeling nostalgic. Especially Sonic music and alot of Sierra (mainly Quest for Glory) songs.

I have about 7 midi tracks I created from Inuyasha theme songs a few years back. They pop up in the playlist cycle every week or so.

MIDIs have been around since 1980s. The "downloadable" ringtone hasn't been around that long (90s). And ringtones obviously don't NEED to be MIDs. The "concept" for a wireless phone started in 1915 it seems. :S
