how many files do you have in your 'My Documents' folder?

Wow. I thought i'd better clean my documents folder up so i had a look to see how many i had. 20673!!! How many do you lot have?

(right click on my documents (not shortcut) and choose properties -> general)

Those are just game saves and application preferences that are stored there by default. I don't use it myself... all of my documents are stored on a separate drive,

ActiveSync seems to use My Documents as a default folder. I never save/copy anything there myself

I am using XP pro

This is taking ages to load, so long, i yawned 10 times...

This is not a lie;

over 168000 files, over 9GB

8691 files in a total of 1530 folders coming to 5.03 gb.
But oj \\downloads in the downloads folder, there are... 140514, in a total of 30540 folders, coming to just under 250 gig, meaning that i will have to get a new drive for it.
And before anyone asks how i can get 250 gig of stuff on 256k, some of its my cd's and films and some of it i downloaded at school on 2 meg.

The reason I ask is that I'm looking for a good network storage device. Any recommendations are very much appreciated. I might even start a new thread in the computer section, who knows
