how much are you paying for dsl?

And it hasn't gone down it price at all?

I know back in 2001 my DSL was $50 for 768k, and now it's only $30 for 3mbit. So it's gone down $20 and the speed has quadrupled.

You may want to look into a cheaper alternative if they won't cut you a better deal. But geez, 10 years, now that's some loyalty.

Actually, at one point they were charging me more, something like $28 and then I saw the offer of $21 for new accounts and I said to their "Chat help:"
How come I'm not getting $21

The answer was the # of mailboxes in the plan & I only use 2 anyway so ---

Maybe I should check to see if there is a current offer that I am not getting --- I do get 10 MB of space for a site -- it was my first one & it still ranks higher than my owned domain for some reason...

Yup, February 1996 -- I attended an "Internet Information" show at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC -- back in those days they were just trying to get people on the Internet.
I signed up with a company called Pipeline --> was taken over by Mindspring --> taken over by Earthlink --> but I always kept the address rhianna@pipeline

I always loved being rhianna@pipeline & still do :classic2: & that's why I still stay there

rhianna, call their business office and threathen to cancell,

I have been with them for 10 years

Thanks for the advice, this is what they charge for dial-up:

$21.95/mo.

They are making an introductory deal with people:
$9.95/mo for 6 months
Offer good for a limited time to new subscribers only and not good with any other offer. First 6 months of service are billed at $9.95 per month. Standard monthly access fee applies thereafter. Service not available in all areas. Access fees, taxes, and other fees and restrictions may apply.

You can read this:
http://www.earthlink.net/dialup/#legal

I'm not getting any special deals for my 10 year loyalty :cry2:

hum, that "free security" thing is what is driving your price high
at my job we sell 2 packages, one for 6$ one for 10$
so you'r actually paying 1/2 price for the internet, 1/2 price for the security

so if you'r not even using that security:
1) call and ask for lower price
2) change isp, you'll find a bunch for about 10$ per month
