I sort of understand .htaccess but what I am wondering ... is there a way to configure .htaccess to add coding to the top of every page that is loaded in a directory?

Like the .htaccess file adds coding to the top of all webpages that load on the server ... is there a way?

Also is there a way to remove coding?

I dont see why you'd want to do that with .htaccess. Use a scripting language...
