i get this error in pHPBB

while ppl register on my forum they get this error

open admincp -> general admin -> configuration
find 'email settings' section. make sure that you've put the correct configuration (such as: smtp, username, password, etc.)

the file is complete cause i am able to use the forum and ppl are able regsiter and use the forum.. but the only problem is that they are getting this error at the and of there registration.which is probably the time when the board sends a mail..

the error is when your forum is trying to send email. try to use smtp options.

we looked at those, and when i looked at the database and code, it seems that the code wants the db calue for it to be set to 1, and it is 0 right now. might be something to look in to.

tried the smtp option no success... i think my host doesnt support send mail feature..
i got smtp error now,

Hi blueonline,

Your host has disabled mail functionality.

I did the same thing for my hosting since it is abused too many times and I will not use my own mail server.

If you don't want to have the error anymore, then use a phpbb mod from their site.
